1. Agreement to these terms
The website at www.caliphasework.com (the “Site”) is owned and operated by CurrentCraft Solutions, LLC d/b/a Cali PhaseWork (“Cali PhaseWork,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, or by submitting a service request through it, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old, and authorized to arrange work at the property involved, to submit a service request.
2. Electrical safety and informational content
Service descriptions, answers to common questions and other content on the Site are general information to help you understand electrical issues and our services. They are not professional advice for your specific situation and are not instructions for doing electrical work yourself.
- Electrical work is dangerous and can cause serious injury, death or fire. Do not attempt repairs based on information on this Site.
- If you see smoke, flames or sparking, or smell burning, leave the area and call 911.
- For downed power lines, a gas smell or a utility outage, call 911 and your utility (PG&E: 1-800-743-5000).
- Submitting a form does not create an emergency response. For urgent problems, call us at (123) 456-7890.
3. Service requests and estimates
- Submitting a service request is a request for us to contact you. It does not create a contract, guarantee availability, or commit either party to any work.
- Any estimate, price or timeline we discuss is based on the information available at the time and may change after an on-site diagnosis. Work begins only after you approve the scope and price.
- Services are governed by the written estimate, invoice or service agreement for that job. If those documents conflict with these Terms, those documents control for the services.
- You agree to give accurate information, including your name, contact details and the property location. We may decline requests that are outside our service area or scope.
4. Scope of services and qualifications
Cali PhaseWork is operated by a certified electrician holding the California General Electrician Certification. Cali PhaseWork is not a C-10 licensed electrical contractor. Services are offered within the limits that apply to our qualifications, and planning and consultation services (such as EV charger and dedicated circuit planning) are advisory. If a project requires a licensed contractor, permits or work beyond our scope, we will tell you. Details are on our Credentials page.
5. Communications consent
By submitting a service request and checking the consent box, you agree that Cali PhaseWork may contact you regarding your service request by phone, email and SMS at the contact details you provide, including through automated scheduling and follow-up tools. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not required to buy services — you can always call us instead.
6. Reviews and testimonials
- Reviews shown on the Site come from customers, either submitted to us directly or published on third-party platforms such as Google, and are displayed with attribution where provided. We do not alter the substance of reviews; we may shorten them or correct obvious typos.
- Any card marked “Sample review” is placeholder layout content, not a customer review.
- If you send us a review or testimonial, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it, with your first name or initials and city, on the Site and in our marketing. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
- Reviews reflect individual experiences; results on your job may differ.
7. Photos, content and intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the Cali PhaseWork name, logo and symbol, text, graphics, layout and project photographs — are owned by or licensed to CurrentCraft Solutions, LLC d/b/a Cali PhaseWork and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
- Project photos in our gallery show work performed by Cali PhaseWork and are watermarked. You may not copy, reuse, remove watermarks from, or present these photos as your own work.
- Some lifestyle and location images are licensed stock photography (for example, from Envato Elements) used for illustration.
- You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use in arranging services. Any other use requires our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or spam requests, or requests using someone else’s identity or contact details without permission.
- Use bots, scripts or automated means to submit forms, scrape content, or bypass our security measures, including Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits or other protections.
- Upload or transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or connected systems.
- Interfere with the Site’s operation or other visitors’ use of it.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
We may block access or decline requests from anyone who violates these Terms.
9. Third-party services and links
The Site relies on third-party services (including Brevo, Airtable, Cloudflare and, if you allow it, Google Analytics) and links to third-party sites such as Google review pages and social media profiles. We are not responsible for third-party sites, content or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that form submissions will always be delivered. This section concerns the Site only; any warranty for services we perform is stated in the documents for that job.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cali PhaseWork and its owners, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its content, including any reliance on informational content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred dollars (US $100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under California law, and it does not apply to services, which are governed by the documents for that job.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cali PhaseWork and its owners, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. General terms
- Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about use of the Site.
